2024 will be the 14th PUNCHEUR!

The challenge of the PUNCHEUR Sportive is to keep up a good tempo along rolling roads over 62 miles and be able to punch over the short climbs.

Be prepared for the new climb on Cob Lane at 20%. 

Your Spring fitness will be tested with 300 metres of climbing packed into 62 miles.

There are long, flat stretches, draggy climbs, some fast descents, and short, sharp, steeper hills to get out of the saddle and punch your way over.

Come and have a bowl of pasta back at HQ at the end (included in your entry).

On The Day

Registration will open at 7.30 and close by 9.00 am.

Once parked or if you ride here, come inside the Pavilion sign on and get gorgeous White Cloud coffee – no charge.

You will be given a timing chip which we will activate before you start. The chip then needs to be beeped by the timing consoles at the start, to set the clock running, and again at the end to register your final time.

The Start

Riders will be set off as and when they are ready. You can ride alone or in groups – whatever suits you. The first riders out will be at 7.45 am

Feed Station

Located at 33 miles. It will have water, energy drinks, and sumptuous food from Infinity Foods.

Feel free to stay at the feed station as long as you want. 

The finish

On reaching the finish back in Ditchling, look out for the marshalls holding the timing consuls. They will register your timing chip and you will immediately receive your finishing time when you hand your chip in.

Back at HQ

Stow your bike then come and get a free cup of tea or coffee and a bowl of pasta (also no charge).

The bar will be open! (non-alcoholic beers are also available). Catch-up with the other riders…
